Celebrate Oktoberfest in Socorro with the Socorro County Historical Society at the historic Hammel Museum & Brewery. This family-friendly event features live music, dancing, local food, locally brewed beer, and plenty of opportunities to explore Socorro’s history.

Schedule of Events

• 11:00 a.m. – Food and drink service begins
• 11:30 a.m. – Oompah Band performing Oktoberfest and Bavarian tunes
• 12:30 p.m. – Big River Band The great tunes by George, Carl and Moises
• 1:30 p.m. – Sax Kitten, “Music with Sax Appeal”
• 2:30 p.m. – Aditi Natesa Belly Dancers

Food & Drink

Enjoy a $10 cash-only meal featuring brats from the grill, sauerkraut with beans, chips, potato salad, cookies, and bottled water. To-go meals will also be available.

The Capital Bar & Brewery will be serving three locally brewed beers on tap, including Pale Lager, Oktoberfest Brew, and Dark Lager. Red and white wine will also be available. Beer is $7 per cup.

In addition to the food, music, and drinks, visitors can:

• Tour the historic Hammel Brewery building
• See the Socorro Train Gang model train displays
• Browse plants and flowers for sale from the Socorro Garden Club
